Bathroom Remodel Aurora Near L4G 0A1 | York Region Home

Case Study Details

We recently completed a full bathroom remodel in Aurora, near the L4G 0A1 area, for a residential property in York Region. The homeowners wanted to modernize their outdated bathroom while improving functionality, lighting, and long-term durability. This York Region home required careful planning to ensure the renovation met current building standards while maintaining a clean and efficient process for the family.

The Challenge

The homeowner contacted us after noticing visible wear and functional issues in their bathroom.

  • Worn and separating floor tiles with aging grout lines
  • Excess humidity due to inadequate ventilation
  • Outdated bathtub-shower combination that felt bulky
  • Insufficient storage for daily essentials
  • Early-stage moisture damage around the vanity base

Although the space was not large, the goal was to create a brighter, modern walk-in shower design that felt more open and functional without expanding the bathroom. We aimed to improve layout efficiency, upgrade materials, and resolve moisture concerns while achieving a clean, contemporary look suited for a York Region home.

Scope of Work

We completed a full bathroom renovation that included:

  • Complete demolition and removal of old fixtures and materials
  • Plumbing upgrades in accordance with Ontario Building Code
  • Installation of a professional waterproofing system
  • Removal of old tub and conversion to a modern walk-in glass shower
  • Large porcelain tile installation on floors and shower walls
  • Custom quartz vanity with built-in storage
  • LED mirror and recessed ceiling lighting
  • Installation of a high-efficiency toilet
  • Upgraded exhaust fan for improved ventilation

All work was completed by licensed and insured professionals, with daily site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized home environment throughout the renovation.
